Vital do Rêgo receives Indian ambassador and presents TCU initiatives
During the visit, the president of the Court of Accounts presented actions taken by the institution related to energy transition and the fight against poverty and climate change to the Indian government representative

On December 8, the president of the Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts (TCU), Minister Vital do Rêgo, welcomed the Indian ambassador to Brazil, Dinesh Bhatia, at the Court's headquarters. During the meeting, the two discussed topics of mutual interest.

Among other matters, Vital do Rêgo highlighted the strong relationship between Brazil and India. He emphasized that both nations face similar challenges in combating hunger and poverty.
The minister underscored the Court's work in developing, in partnership with the University of Oxford, an innovative methodology for measuring the effectiveness of public policies aimed at reducing social vulnerabilities.

President do Rêgo also discussed ClimateScanner, a global platform coordinated by the TCU that assessed governance, financing, and public policy actions in more than 100 countries, as well as the Practical Guide to Energy Transition, created to support the evaluation and monitoring of changes related to the energy transition.
