Joining the effort to effectively contribute with the fight against Covid-19 by entities under its jurisdiction, the Federal Court of Accounts - Brazil (TCU) will supervise the actions carried out by the federal government
The measure was approved on March 25, during the session held in a virtual plenary with the goal of highlighting risks and guiding managers about potential problems in the development of planned initiatives that might compromise the effectiveness of emergency actions.
The Federal Court of Accounts - Brazil (TCU) will supervise the actions carried out by all federal administration bodies that are preventively acting against the novel coronavirus, Covid-19. The decision was approved during the virtual plenary session held on Wednesday (03/25)
The Special Monitoring Plan of Actions to Combat Covid-19 broadens the scope of the public agencies and goes beyond the Ministry of Health (MS).
According to the President of TCU, Minister José Mucio Monteiro, “the measure will also favor the Court’s dialogue with managers who have to adopt emergency measures in view of the current crisis”.
