Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) Minister Benjamin Zymler traveled to Luanda to participate in the celebrations for the 23rd anniversary of the Angolan Court of Auditors, held from April 10 to 12. The commemoration, spearheaded by Sebastião Gunza, President of the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Angola, showcased presentations pertinent to external control. The Angolan Minister of Finance, Vera Davos de Sousa, delivered a speech on the topic "Good Practices of Budgetary Performance: efficient resource management, public spending control, and transparency in the use of resource". The president of the Portuguese Court of Audit, José Tavares, addressed the topic of "Concurrent Audit: outcomes and benefits."

Participating in the series of debates were the counselor judges to the Angolan Court of Audit Armindo Jelembi and Elisa Rangel Nunes, as speakers, and Arlete Conceição, Conceição Dias, Eva Almeida, and Manuel da Cruz Neto, as moderators.

The counselor judge to the Constitutional Court of Angola Gilberto Magalhães moderated the presentation "The type of control of the Court of Audit over public contractual activity: control of mere legality or control over the merits of efficiency in good administration", given by Carlos Maria Feijó.
