The United Nations World Public Sector Report, entitled "Transforming institutions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals after the pandemic", featured the contribution of Auditor Carlos Lustosa, from the Audit Department for Agriculture, Environment, and Economic Development (AudAgroAmbiental) of the Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts (TCU). He wrote the article "The Role of Transnational Networks and Professional Exchanges in Supporting an Integrated Implementation of the SDGs". The document is the result of Lustosa's participation in the Global Governance course offered by the German Institute for Development and Sustainability (IDOS).

The article was prepared in collaboration with Simran Dhingra, from the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation in India, and with Isabela Blum, from the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services. The document can be accessed here

The publication seeks to discuss how governments can reshape their relationship with different actors to increase trust and foster the necessary changes towards more sustainable and peaceful societies. Additionally, it brings reflections on governmental performance to assess and address competing priorities. It also approaches innovations that governments can adopt to transform the public sector and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
