TCU highlights innovative projects for COP30 in meeting at Planalto Presidential Palace

On May 14, the Secretary General of the Presidency, Cláudia Jordão, and the head of the Department of International Relations, Hugo Chudyson Araújo Freire, met at the Planalto Palace with the Secretary General to the Executive Office of the President of the Republic, Miriam Belchior, and the Extraordinary Secretary for COP30, Valter Correia.
They discussed the participation of the Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts (TCU), in the 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), which will be held in Belém this coming November. TCU plans to present its main sustainability projects, such as ClimateScanner, the Practical Guideline to Energy Transition, and the ClimaBrasil Panel, as well as the audit on multidimensional poverty.
COP is the main forum for global environmental debate and brings together world leaders, scientists, non-governmental organizations and civil society representatives to address actions to tackle climate change.
