AudBancos participates in INTOSAI meeting on financial stability

The Audit Department for Public Banks and Financial Regulators (AudBancos), part of Department of Government Audit for Public Accounts (SecexContas), participated on May 14 and 15 in the 12th Annual Meeting of the INTOSAI Working Group on Financial and Economic Stability.
The meeting, held in London, United Kingdom, brought together representatives from Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of 26 countries. Maria Bethania Lahoz, Deputy Chief Auditor of AudBancos, and Ana Paula Curi, Director of AudBancos, took part in the event.
The Director of AudBancos presented the lecture "Enhancing External Control over State-Owned Banks: Financial Indicators and Risk Management." This project, carried out by her directorate, focuses on developing the continuous monitoring of risk management and loan portfolios, using tools such as artificial intelligence to anticipate risks and enhance accountability.
