In his speech, Minister Bruno Dantas emphasized that ClimateScanner reached a new stage, focused on consolidating the initiative and deepening the analysis of the results obtained. "We are now entering a different phase. The methodology has been developed, the training has been completed, the assessments have been conducted. The task of this Executive Group is no longer one of structuring, but of consolidation: to deepen the analysis of the results, to draw lessons from the evidence already available, and to ensure that ClimateScanner continues to be useful for the SAIs that apply it," he stated.

ClimateScanner is a global assessment of government climate actions related to governance, financing, and public policies for mitigation and adaptation. Within the TCU, the initiative is coordinated by the Department of Government Audit for Sustainable Development (SecexDesenvolvimento).

Auditors from the SAIs of Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Egypt, Finland, Indonesia, Morocco, New Zealand, the Philippines, Slovakia, South Korea, Thailand, and the European Court of Auditors participated in the meeting.
