ProInter 2026: Registration is Open for Female TCU Employees, bringing New Opportunities

The Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts (TCU), through the Serzedello Corrêa Institute for Capacity Building (ISC), launched a selection process for the 4th edition of the Women in Leadership Program part of the TCU Exchange Program in Audit and Government Management (ProInter-TCU). Female employees of the TCU may apply until July 7, via ISCnet, by completing the electronic application form and submitting the required documentation.

The main feature of this new edition is the expansion of the target audience. In addition to female TCU employees and representatives of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) from Portuguese-speaking countries, the program now includes women employees from Brazilian state and municipal Courts of Accounts, the Chamber of Deputies and the Federal Senate.

Designed for women who currently hold or aspire to hold leadership positions, the program will be delivered in three phases: online introduction, from August 31 to September 2; in-person phase, from September 21 to 25, at the ISC, in Brasilia; and online consolidation, on November 17, featuring presentations of the final projects.

The program will cover topics such as female leadership, gender equality, diversity, inclusion, equity, support networks, and experiences aimed at developing leadership in the public sector. The objective is to strengthen female leadership and promote gender equity in public institutions, in addition to encouraging the exchange of experiences and the creation of collaborative networks among participants.

Selection criteria

Participants will be selected by their respective home institutions. To apply, candidates must:

  • Be a woman;
  • Be an employee of a Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) that is member of the OISC/CPLP;
  • Be a public employee of the TCU or of state or municipal courts of accounts; or a public employee of the Chamber of Deputies or the Federal Senate;
  • Have at least three years of continuous service at their home institution;
  • Hold or aspire to hold a leadership position, with current or potential responsibility for team management;
  • Not have participated in previous editions of the ProInter Women in Leadership Program; and
  • Not have participated in the "Women in Leadership workshop taught by Professor Gisèle Szczyglak.

A total of 40 vacancies will be offered, distributed as follows:

  • 14 vacancies for institutions affiliated with OISC/CPLP;
  • 12 vacancies for state and municipal Courts of Accounts;
  • 10 vacancies for the TCU;
  • 2 vacancies for the Chamber of Deputies; and
  • 2 vacancies for the Federal Senate.
