Exchange Program Discusses Concessions and Public-Private Partnerships
Event on May 28 brings together audit institutions to share experiences in overseeing infrastructure contracts

On May 28, the Infrastructure and Energy Transitions Committee (Coinfra) of the Latin American and Caribbean Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS) will host a Technical Exchange on Concessions and Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). The online event is scheduled for 11 a.m. (Brasília time).
In this first session, the Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) will present the practices and approaches it applies in the oversight of concessions and PPPs.
The initiative aims to promote peer learning and strengthen the technical capacity of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) in monitoring these contractual models, which are considered strategic for the delivery of public infrastructure projects and services.
Upcoming sessions will feature presentations by SAIs from Costa Rica, Chile, El Salvador, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru, and Puerto Rico.
