“In 1992, I entered TCU as an analyst of finance and external control and, for nine years, practiced my
duties in the technical secretaries of the Court and the Public Ministry with TCU. In 2001, I became
Substitute Minister of the Court upon approval in public exam, position that I currently exercise. It is
up to TCU to exercise the External Control, which the key mission is to control and monitor the public
resources in benefit of the society, as determined by the Federal Constitution. In these terms, TCU must
provide improvements in the resources management and, according to the case, adopt corrective, punitive
and guiding measures. It is my duty, as I exercise this position, together with the members of the Court
and its servants, to perform and achieve this noble and important mission with efficiency, ethics and
respect for the jurisdictional and Brazilian citizens.”
